Sat 30th July - Karl Burtscher Snr Memorial GS

In memory of Karl Burtscher Senior this race celebrates a life in the mountains and a love of winter sport.

Sat 6th August - 80’s Day

An event not to be missed!  The atmosphere is HUGE and the outfits are truly AWFUL!  Crack out the lycra pants, fluro sweatshirts, leg warmers and blue eyeshadow.  Watch (or participate in) the hilarious water jump and enjoy all the entertainment of 80's day.  

Sat 13th August – The Surface Ski "Who's Your Daddy" Downhill

An extreme event run off the Heritage Express Tow Rope.  More details to follow.

Sat 20th August - Soul Surf & Skate Snow Jam

Skiers and riders testing their skills in a slopestyle comp held in Central Park.  With awesome prizes up for grabs, be in to win or watch all the action from the deck of the Two Thumb Cafe. 

Sat 10th & Sun 11th September - Inter-field junior ski race

The Junior Interfield series provides race experience to junior skiers.  It provides a series of races which can be enjoyed by young athletes training as well as encouraging recreational skiers to give racing a go.

Sat 17th & Sun 18th September - The Dynastar Chill Gromfest

A fun event for the young'uns in the Central Park terrain park this event is run by the guys and girls at Chill - see www.chillout.co.nz for more info.

All events this year are scheduled to be held on the Saturday with Sunday as the contingency day in the event of bad weather.
