Snow Snow SNOW!!!
What a great finish to July! A storm system parked itself over us on Monday and we received 65cm of new snow over 2 days, Roundhill is looking great with wall to wall white! The patrol team have spent the day up the Heritage Express carrying out control work and we’re very happy to say we’ll be opening it at around lunchtime tomorrow. The boys have said it’s Epic knee deep powder from the top to about tower 15 then heavier snow from there down, I hope you’ve been eating your weetbix!!
Last weekend saw our first event of the winter, we had around 45 entrants in the Karl Burtscher Senior Memorial Race which was a GS event run down Speedway, the beautiful bluebird day and great viewing from the Cafe deck saw a fun day had by competitors and spectators alike, congratulations to Karl Burtscher who took out the mens division and Sophie Rieder who won the womens.
We have a number of great events taking place over winter. Our hugely popular 80′s day is this Saturday bringing the usual laughs and outrageous outfits, the water jump will start at around 2pm so come on up and have some fun.
We look forward to seeing you here soon!
The Roundhill Team.
