Roundhill ski area lies in one of the most picturesque parts of New Zealand. Lake Tekapo, in The Mackenzie Country is easy to access from a range of directions.
We are located approximately:
- 3 hours from Christchurch
- 3 hours from Queenstown
- 1.5 hours from Timaru
- 1 hour from Fairlie
- 35 minutes from Tekapo
Roundhill is 32km from Tekapo, along the eastern shore of the lake and up our access road to the base area at 1350m. Our gradual, wide, driver-friendly access road allows campervans and buses to access Roundhill with ease. For daily access road conditions during winter, phone 03 680 6977.
