Hello and Welcome – March 2012

to the first of Roundhill’s newsletters for 2012!

The Roundhill Team are busy again this summer with the installation of ANOTHER LIFT! The T2 T-Bar is 460m long with 120m vertical rise. Construction is well underway, the concrete foundations have been completed and the towers are up, the project will be completed by the start of May and T2 will be in operation for this winter. The T2 accesses some great intermediate terrain and will ease some of the pressure we can experience on the Main T-Bar during busy periods. There will be a groomed trail “Ozzis Way” which is approximately ½ a kilometre long and of course there will be plenty of off-piste terrain to be skied.

The von Brown has been moved to make room for a new SUPER WIDE TRAIL, the FIS trail runs from top to bottom of the main T-Bar, out wide of Karls Way, the new “FIS” trail is 40m wide and approximately 1.5km long, it’s going to be a lot of fun (not to mention one of the most scenic trails in NZ!).

The new trail map is available for viewing on our NEW WEBSITE which went live this week. We’re really excited about our new site and are very happy with the new look and feel – thanks to BECK & CAUL for all their good work!

Our Earlybird season passes are now on sale, there will be a downloadable application form on the “Prices” tab of our website – The prices rise on the 1st June so be in early for the best price.

For all your Facebook-ers, don’t forget to “Like” us so you can be kept up to date with all the latest information and imagery.

We’ll be in touch again soon, so meanwhile take care.

The Roundhill Team.
